# THE PRINCIPLE OF RECYCLING
Profiting from cyclic processes. Utilization of waste.
This principle amounts to an enhanced realization of the previous rules; it requires the reintegration of waste products (a term that does not exist in nature) into the living circulatory process among the involved systems.
Recycling should also be extended to energy and heat recovery and even communication and information.
This, of course, calls for a departure from the linear, monodimensional mode of thinking in which we have been educated, a mode of thinking that knows only beginning and end, definite causes and effects.
**Precondition for recycling:** diversity of system components, small scaled system structure.
