# Meaning of variable interdependencies (links) Begin drawing the connections between variables, noticing interactions & subsystems.
Even a few variables may show some relationships, effects and repercussions. These should be marked as links between the respective factors.
You will notice system components which are linked to several others and others having little connection or maybe none at all in the beginning. There are some with only outgoing effects, others with only incoming ones.
This leads to new questions and to systems components not noticed so far. Others will prove to be superfluous because no inter-relationship with other system components can be established.
