# Drawing a system picture
To describe a system, as simple concrete sketch may be of great help. It does not matter the system deals with an industrial area, a service business, a management training program or a situation of political divergence. Everything can be expressed by pictures and symbols as well as words.
The thing is that with pictures and symbols relationships and interconnections turn up which one does not think of verbally.
